Code named D1C, the new Android phone from Nokia has been spotted at geekbench running a 64-bit Snapdragon 430 SoC with 3 GB of RAM. Clearly this is a mid range device, of which Nokia was the king. It looks like Note 7 battery issue is not the only thing Samsung has to worry about now.

Here is the snapshot of Geekbench details, the multicore performance lies at an average of 3000 and the single core is clocking around 650 which is decent. However the highlight of the device is that it would be launching with Android 7.0 Nougat. We also expect the device to flaunt best in class camera given Nokia's expertise in the department.

Fans have been waiting for a promising Android device from Nokia's stable for long and hopefully this is only the start, we are hopeful to see a lot more Android devices including a flagship from Nokia in early 2017. The D1C is expected launch later this year at an attractive price of INR 8,999 (USD $150). More details are awaited, stay tuned.
