Samsung has launched latest iteration of its super sucessful budget offering from last year Galaxy On7 (2016) for CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 16,000). The mobile now flaunts an all metal unibody construction and looks more premium and comes in iPhone like rose gold color options. The over all design seems to be heavily inspired from that of iPhone 6 as well.

The mobile is now powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. Storage and RAM department sees a spec bump as well, with the mobile housing 3 GB of RAM 32 GB of inbuilt storage. Display is now a full HD IPS panel. The most compelling feature would be the f/1.9 13 MP camera and front facing 8MP camera with the same wide aperture.

The phone comes with Samsung Knox entreprise security suite preinstalled  Needless to say the phone would be 4G LTE capable and has a decent 3300 mAh battery. Galaxy On7 (2016) would be dual nano sim capable and has expandable memory slot that supports upto 256 GB of microSD cards.

The phone will run  Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Also, the it supports quick charging, however details on the effeciency of it are not reveled at this moment. A possible India launch is under the wraps but would it retain same impressive specs at the price is yet to be known.

To sum it up here are the highlights of the phone.
